The Belt is a population of asteroids distributed over an area roughly spanning between the space between the orbits of Salamander and Phaethon.

Spacecraft enter the Belt to ferry workers to and from the mining operations that have been set up on some of the larger rocks, but very few people live in the Belt permanently.
