Sabine Ōtsuka-Rössler, known to her friends as Sabi, has worked as an engineer aboard the Nomizu for around a year.

Lived and studied on Salamander. Her expertise was originally in biomechatronics, a practice to which she still returns intermittently as a hobby, in between taking care of the ship's engines and poring over flight plans with Pine.

She was entrusted with the maintenance of a few early versions of Paris's prosthetic body, and later of Venn.
