Emily Tomorrow was born on Salamander, but has since spent most of her life on Lune: first as a student at the Fra Mauro Institute, alongside Taarel, and then at the affiliated hospital and major trauma centre.
In the middle of what was thought by many of her colleagues at the time to have been a promising early career, she left the Fra Mauro Centre to work as a ship surgeon aboard a small vessel called the Nomizu.
She spends most of her free time taking care of plants in the oxygen garden.
